Itinerary for Laka Glacier Trek

Day 1 – Mcleodganj to Triund

Begin this adventure trekking trip by arriving at the Bhagsu Nag Taxi Stand before 10:00 a.m. The journey takes you via the Bhagsu Falls, Mcleodganj’s largest waterfall. Arrive to the Leta/Mana Village campsite, where you can unload your belongings. You can stop for some food (on your own) at a tea hut in the village before continuing your journey. After an hour or two of admiring the panoramic vistas, begin descending. Trek down to the Leta/Mana village campsite, arrive at the destination, and relax after a long day. Check into one of the campgrounds at Leta/Mana Village and relax for a while. Enjoy a lively chit-chat session around the bonfire while eating dinner (about 8 p.m.) and listening to calming music. Retire for the day and re-energize for the next one.

Day 2 – Triund to Laka Glacier

As you get closer to Snowline, you’ll notice snow patches on the trail, which will be a lovely sight to see. As you progress, you may notice that the trail is completely covered with snow. At roughly 2:00 p.m., have a wonderful packed lunch on the summit while admiring the breathtaking views. After an hour or two of admiring the beautiful views, begin descending towards the Leta/Mana Village campground. Arrive at the campsite around 6:30 p.m. to take in the breathtaking sunset vista, which will be a relaxing experience. Retire for the night after enjoying the fantastic experience of a bonfire with dinner (about 8 p.m.) and some peaceful music beneath a sky full of stars.

Day 3 – Laka Glacier to Mcleodganj

Get up early in the morning and have breakfast at 8:30 a.m.
